We went to Montepulciano another lovely hill town in Tuscany. It was cool and sunny. We stopped at a panorama restaurant outside the city and had pizza and an amazing artichoke salad. I bought lovely fresh soap. We walked a mile straight up the hill of the town. Through the wall of the city and the gate.

Ate lemon gelati. Went into some old creepy cellars that are a part of many of the shops here. Went inside a very dark and damp church Made an offering to St. Rita in the Duomo.

The last day we went to the town of Cortona near our house. It was the nicest of all the walled hill towns we had visited.

I found a wonderful dress shop and bought several dresses that are soft like fine brushed cotton and are all washable. They feel like pajamas and look wonderful. I bought a blue skirt and pants and a matching jacket. Also a lovely taupe dress. Rolf and Joanne bought me a matching print skirt. I bought some great walking sandals. We had a lovely lunch with more sparkling wine. Relaxed by the pool in the afternoon.

I had flying dreams that night. I was flying over a large area of a country side and a town. It was exhilarating and a little scary. I have quite a few flying dreams but most of the time I am flying by myself with no aircraft. It's always effortless and daring.
