Chuck kept up about 10 displays on his three screens at once: the FD Status (green/amber/red all stations), the NBL view, the Onboard Fault Summary, the DAP Panel Display, the 3-D Attitude Display, the Real-time Display (antennas/comm), the three shuttle computer display screens, the Airlock Display (while they were pre-breathing), the RMS (arm) Display and the view of the Station Control Center so he could see Sally.

They had some changes to the schedule that FAO put together and so they"faxed" it up to the crew (meaning it got sent up in a data batch).  The first failure was a small switching problem that the DPS noticed (Data) it required a simple resetting of the power to the switch, but I was impressed as to the thoroughness of the routine.  It was turned ‘on’ but the switch was supposedly in the ‘off’ position and so they checked to see if it had been bumped or teased on.  And they talked about covering it with tape, or if the connection might be bad, or loose, etc.  And then the word from Moscow came through the Station Flight Director (Moscow is being played today by Sim Control) and it was trouble.
